Job summary

Due to exciting developments within our Occupational Health service we are looking for Nurse Associates to join our team.

You would be required to participate in the provision of an efficient, effective, comprehensive, high quality Occupational Health service to Dorset HealthCare and a variety of external customers throughout Dorset.

Occupational Health is a very rewarding field of nursing and there are so many opportunities to develop and learn new skills.

Main duties of the job

  • To administer injections using subcutaneous, intradermal and intramuscular routes.
  • To undertake venepuncture in line with OH protocols.
  • To undertake lifestyle assessments for staff which will include blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood glucose tests as part of health promotion activities.
  • To perform health surveillance such as spirometry, audiometry, skin assessments.
