In this rewarding role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care while supporting the ongoing development of our service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
- Driving the development of a research-informed, evidence-based Outpatient Gynaecology service
- Providing a comprehensive, compassionate service for both the community and the Trust
- Supporting the effective management and delivery of all Gynaecology Outpatient services
- Acting as a clinical leader and role model within the team

Main duties of the job
- To lead and develop a researched & evidence-based Outpatient Gynae service.
- To provide a comprehensive service for the community and the Trust in the management of all Gynaecology Outpatients.
- To be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating of patient care.
- The post holder will have limited budgetary responsibility.
- To act as a multi-disciplinary leader for personnel involved in the Gynae Outpatient service, with emphasis upon liaison, decision making, assessment, communication, initiation of planning, development and change in the service, with support of the Matron.
