Job summary

We're looking for someone who is:

Main duties of the job
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic audiology assessments, including both basic and advanced tests, in line with national professional standards and local protocols.
- Assess and rehabilitate adult patients referred from Primary Care or ENT, supporting individuals with hearing loss, tinnitus, and complex audiological needs.
- Conduct comprehensive audiological tests, including pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, and probe microphone measurements.
- Analyse and interpret diagnostic results, ensuring accurate clinical decision-making and effective patient pathways.
- Prepare clear, detailed reports summarising diagnostic findings and personalised care plans, integrating complex clinical, technical and social information--even when incomplete or conflicting.
- Fit, programme, and verify digital hearing aids, ensuring optimal benefit for patients, including ear mould modification, adjustment, and follow-up care.
- Manage ongoing hearing aid maintenance and review, supporting patients to make the most of their technology and maintain long-term hearing health.
