With proven experience in medical recruitment, you will lead the delivery of resident doctor onboarding, ensuring the smooth and timely coordination of monthly starters and supporting the effective management of internal rotations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing guidance, supporting recruitment with colleagues, ensuring consistent & high-quality recruitment

  • Acting as the lead recruitment advisor for a clinical division, partnering with clinical managers and medical staffing team

  • Leading medical recruitment campaigns, including the recruitment of doctors across a range of grades and specialties.

  • Coordinating & supporting medical rotations, ensuring timely recruitment, onboarding and placement of doctors to meet service needs.

  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment, from advert to appointment

  • Supporting the organisation and administration of Advisory Appointments Committee (AAC) panels, ensuring compliance with NHS regulations and coordinating panel membership, documentation and interview arrangements.

  • Providing expert advice and guidance to managers on recruitment best practice, policy, compliance and values-based selection.

  • Supporting the onboarding journey for medical staff, working closely with managers and corporate team

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities (not exhaustive)

  • Provide day-to-day coordination and support within the recruitment team, contributing to the delivery of an effective, responsive and customer-focused recruitment service.

  • Monitor and manage recruitment activity, helping to prioritise workloads in line with divisional demand, medical recruitment timelines and performance targets.

  • Support the development of colleagues through sharing best practice, contributing to team learning and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of recruitment processes and systems.

  • Build effective working relationships with clinical managers, medical staffing teams and corporate colleagues, promoting open communication and collaborative working.

  • Ensure clear communication with stakeholders so managers and candidates remain informed throughout the recruitment process.

  • Support the development of attraction and selection approaches to improve the recruitment and retention of both temporary and substantive medical staff.

  • Coordinate and support targeted recruitment campaigns, including medical recruitment rounds and rotations, helping to maintain a sustainable pipeline of candidates.
