We're excited to welcome an enthusiastic and caring Band 3 Rehab Assistant to our vibrant Intensive Care Unit team at Frimley Park Hospital! If you enjoy working with people, learning new skills, and making a real difference, this could be the perfect role for you.

You'll be joining a friendly, forward-thinking team that values innovation and puts patients first.

We offer comprehensive training, ongoing development, and a genuinely supportive environment.

If you're curious about working in ICU, we'd love to chat. You're welcome to call us or visit the unit to meet the team and see what we do.

Main duties of the job

In this role, you will:

  • Support physiotherapists in delivering meaningful rehabilitation in ICU.
  • Work closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and the wider MDT.
  • Help patients as they step down from ICU, supporting their physical and emotional recovery.
  • Guide patients through exercises and activities that help them regain independence.
  • Offer reassurance to patients and their families.
  • Assist with documenting progress and other admin tasks that support rehabilitation.
