We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Biomedical Scientist to join our Haematology and Blood Transfusion department within one of the largest NHS-led Pathology Services in the South of England.

Main duties of the job
- As a Biomedical Scientist, you will work within the Haematology and Blood Transfusion team to deliver a high-quality, patient-focus diagnostic service.
- You will rotate through Haematology, Coagulation, and Blood Transfusion, analysing and validating patient samples using advanced analysers such as the Abbott Alinity H, Werfen ACL TOP, and IBG Iris systems.
- Duties include performing IQC/EQA, maintaining equipment, adhering to Health & Safety and COSHH regulations, and ensuring accurate documentation.
- You will support the QMS through audits, non-conformance reporting, and corrective actions, participate in staff training a service of care.
