An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nurse Associate to join our dedicated and compassionate nursing team in Trauma & Orthopaedics as permanent and secondment post. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is committed to delivering safe, high-quality, and person-centred care.
As a valued member of our team, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation of Team Nursing, taking responsibility for your allocated patients and ensuring care is delivered to the highest standard.

Main duties of the job
- Providing excellent patient care and ensuring that patients always come first.
- Undertaking a range of delegated clinical care duties within your level of competency, acting on your own initiative to deliver agreed care plans.
- Supporting the implementation and maintenance of Team Nursing within the clinical area.
- Accurately recording and reflecting care provided in the electronic patient record system (EPIC).
- Mentoring and supporting new care assistants as they complete the Care Certificate.
- Ensuring patients receive compassionate, high-quality care and an excellent patient experience, with respect for their customs, religious beliefs, and personal preferences.
