Receptionist/Admin Support (Urgent Emergency Care)Frimley Park Hospital

We are seeking to recruit two Receptionist/Admin Support staff to join our Urgent Emergency Care team on 12-month fixed-term contracts. This busy and dynamic service brings together the Emergency Department, Ambulatory Emergency Care Unit, and Acute Assessment Unit, providing vital front-line support to patients and clinical teams.

As a key member of the administrative team, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality reception and administrative service, acting as the first point of contact for patients, relatives, and visitors. You will support the smooth running of the department through accurate data entry, patient registration, appointment coordination, and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams, all while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires flexibility, as you will work shifts on a rolling rota basis across a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week service, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Main duties of the job

To record patient attendances, transfers, and discharges electronically; ensuring all data collection is accurate and collected in a confidential and professional manner.

To provide a highly professional front of house service - this includes Reception, Ambulance Admissions and Patient Flow.

As an integral member of the unit to provide support to the Managers. To provide a wide range of duties always ensuring an efficient service to the department.
