Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and highly motivated non medical consultant in stroke Rehabilitationto join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for an advanced practitioner to take on a consultant level role leading on clinical assessment, rehabilitation planning, service development within a supportive forward thinking environment.
The post holder will provide expert clinical leadership in rehabilitation medicine, undertaking assessments, leading daily ward rounds and guiding MDT team. You will play a key role in research, education, and contribute to improvement of rehabilitation services across the trust.

Main duties of the job
As Clinical Lead, you will:
- Provide advanced clinical assessment and direct care for patients with complex rehabilitation needs. Offer expert clinical advice and support colleagues across all disciplines.
- Lead daily ward rounds, setting rehabilitation goals and ensuring high quality patient centred care. Coordinate MDT meeting to deliver effective rehabilitation plans. Maintain effective communication with patients, families to ensure continuity of care.
- Drive service development and pathway redesign.
- Champion clinical governance, audit, and research to maintain excellence and innovation.
Essential Criteria Applicants must demonstrate:
- Current HCPC or NMC registration as a Nurse or AHP.
- Independent and supplementary prescribing qualification.
- Master's degree in a advanced clinical practice (or working towards completion).
- Demonstrable experience in stroke or neuro-rehabilitation at advanced practice level.
- Proven ability to lead service development, quality improvement, and clinical governance.
- Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and leadership skills.
Desirable Criteria - Experience working at a consultant or equivalent senior leadership level.
- Formal training in coaching, mentoring, or change management.
- Evidence of presenting at clinical forums or contributing to research publications.
Additional Information - Car owner/driver required for cross-site travel.
- Flexibility to work across services and settings.
