Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust's Catering Services are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef to join our friendly, dedicated team at Wexham Park Hospital in Slough.

Main duties of the job

- Proven experience as a chef in a quality-focused kitchen

- Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills
- Food hygiene knowledge (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent desirable

What youll do:

Prepare and cook a variety of nutritious dishes using fresh ingredients and NHS menu plans
Cater for dietary needs and special diets with care and creativity
Maintain the highest hygiene and food safety standards
Contribute to menu development and new ideas for patient and staff meals
Support occasional hospitality and function catering
Assisting with stock control, storage, temperature checks, and kitchen cleanliness.
Contributing to menu development and improving patient and staff meal offerings

Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene
