Applications are invited for an enthusiastic and motivated Consultant Radiologist with a sub speciality In G.U. imaging at Frimley Health.
We are offering an opportunity to join an established and pro active team to respond to our growing service.
The post will be based at Wexham Park Hospital.
Main duties of the job
To provide a comprehensive GU Imaging Service and to support the general Radiology workload of the department.
The successful applicants will provide a full range of GU radiology including CT, MRI. Plain film and Ultrasound. Participation in multidisciplinary team meetings is expected.

Job responsibilities
Audit & Clinical Governance
A half day per month is dedicated to audit and teaching. All elective work is cancelled for this session and staff are expected to attend and participate as part of clinical governance arrangements. There is also a developing peer review programme and errors meeting. All CPD requirements must be met.
Consultant meetings are held monthly and are chaired by the Clinical Lead.
On Call
The post requires participation in a full and active on call service with internal cover.
Other Sites
Frimley Health has several sites delivering Radiology services and the post holder will undertake a number of sessions outside Wexham Park.
The Radiology team at Wexham Park, Heatherwood and Parapet sites are part of the Oxford Deanery Radiology Training Scheme.
Terms and conditions of employment:
The terms and conditions of service will be those applicable to the new Consultant Contract and any offer is subject to satisfactory Occupational Health clearance as per the Clothier Report recommendations, and GMC registration.
Employment will also be governed by the Trusts employment policies and procedures.
The post holder will be required to reside not more than 40 minutes travel time from Wexham Park Hospital unless the Chief Executive gives specific approval to a greater distance.
