Job summary
The post holder will play a key role in delivering high-quality administrative support to the Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the department, contributing to effective patient care by maintaining accurate records, managing communication channels, and coordinating key aspects of the patient pathway.
Working closely with the Clinical Admin Team Leads and the Patient Pathway Co-ordinator, the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Main duties of the job
To provide an administrative service to the Department.
To work closely with the Clinical Admin Leads and patient Pathway Coordinator to set daily priorities and targets.
To answer incoming calls to the department
To book appointments for patients
