Health Care Support Worker

Job summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Health Care Support Worker to join our team on Ward 11. You will be responsible for providing both clinical and non-clinical support to ensure high-quality patient care and assist the nursing team in delivering day-to-day care.

This post is for shift work, including weekdays, nights and weekends.

Main duties of the job

  • Support the team with the delivery of high-quality care to all patients during their stay.
  • Liaise promptly and with the nurse in charge any concerns with regards to patients' wellbeing.
  • Assist patients with their nutritional requirements.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation under supervision of a registered nurse, raising issues of concern with a qualified nurse where appropriate.
