Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to take on the role of Spinal Team Lead within our dynamic Outpatient Physiotherapy Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the spinal physiotherapy team from a managerial perspective, supporting clinical development in collaboration with the Spinal Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist, and working closely with colleagues across the Trust to enhance the spinal patient pathway.

Main duties of the job
- Provide skilled and effective leadership for the spinal team within outpatient physiotherapy, ensuring the delivery of a high quality, evidence based service.
- Manage a complex caseload of spinal patients using highly specialist physiotherapy knowledge and skills as an autonomous practitioner.
- To provide an effective high quality service to all outpatients and oversee the supervision and teaching of physiotherapists and students in the spinal team and outpatient department, as per policy.
- To be responsible for service development, to implement policy and policy changes in own clinical area and to set and monitor standards of practice.
- Work within the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT) to monitor and improve the spinal patient pathway, including organising and implementing changes as appropriate.
