Job summary

Frimley Park Hospital is currently seeking a Health Care Assistant to join our dedicated Day Surgery Unit 2 Theatre Team.

We welcome applications from motivated, enthusiastic applicants who are committed to providing excellent patient care. Experience within an operating theatre or hospital environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Main duties of the job

A Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in operating theatres works as part of the multidisciplinary team. They assist setting up theatres and preparing the theatre and patient for surgery. The HCA assists the Theatre Practitioners and surgical team during surgical procedures with equipment, instruments and patient care.

Applications are for full time 37.5 hours worked over 3/4 days, doing 07:30 - 19:30 shifts from Monday to Friday. Applicants will be willing to do cross-site working with Wexham Park Hospital and Heatherwood Hospital when required.
