Deputy Service Manager Heatherwood Elective Centre
We have an exciting development opportunity for a Deputy Service Manager, this role will support the management team for the Heatherwood Elective Centre.
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual to join our team, with excellent communication skills, someone who has excellent skills with Excel to pull and interrogate data and create meaningful data for various forums and boards, to support the management team.
This role will be based at Heatherwood Hospital in Ascot.
Main duties of the job
o Deputising for the Service Manager, responsible for direct line management of Receptionists, day to day operational leadership of services.
o Supporting data requests from General Manager and Managing Director
o Support Service Manager and General Manager to plan and develop services.

To be responsible for day-to-day management of operational issues, making independent decisions relating to both inpatient and outpatient activity.
Be able to pull and interrogate data and produce reports for various forums and boards.
To proactively support all specialties with outpatient and theatres requirements to support specialties RTT
To support Service Manager with Utilisation of all rooms, clinics and theatres in line with Heatherwood KPIs and GIRFT.
The post holder will work and will be responsible to the Service Manager and General Manager, supporting the Managing Director and Chief of Service, Matron and Senior Nurses, and any other key senior staff in achieving the aims of the Directorate.
The post holder is responsible for supporting the Service Manager and General Manager within the Heatherwood Elective Centre to achieve targets and standards for GIRFT.
The post holder is responsible for the line management of the reception team including the B4 Team Leader.
