Job summary

Then come and join the multi-disciplinary team working in the Emergency Department at Frimley Park Hospital!

You will be a member of the multi-disciplinary team and be encouraged to take responsibility for various areas of clinical practice to ensure that the department delivers a high quality service. We will support you every way we can by providing on going professional development and in-house training. You will gain extensive experience to care for a diverse patient mix.

Main duties of the job

It is an exciting time to be working in the Emergency Department where patient care is central to the goals of the organisation, and with modernised facilities this is the perfect time to come and join our team.

This post is offered to full time and part time workers, on rotational days and night shifts, however we are open to negotiation on shift patterns

  • Mentor /Preceptor course
  • Module in emergency care nursing

Experience

  • Post qualification experience in an acute setting
  • Evidence of dealing with difficult situations in an appropriate manner

  • Emergency nursing experience

Skills

Essential

  • Able to manage time effectively and priorities workload.
  • Ability to organize, along with good communication skills, both written and oral.
