Job summary
Frimley Health places great emphasis on the education and training of our workforce. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior pharmacist to be part of a well established and dynamic education and training team.
The role involves managing the Clinical Diploma Pharmacist programme and development of undergraduate training opportunities. Additionally, you will be involved in teaching medical students, training doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is interested in developing their education and training skills, whilst being supported by the Principal Education and Training Pharmacist
The role also involves preparing high quality and innovative teaching and will be encouraged to build upon this excellence in teaching and learning in the development and delivery of clinical education and training at University of Reading.
You must have hospital pharmacy experience involving clinical pharmacy skills as well teaching skills. The role requires the ability to work effectively as part of a team, through excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to motivate yourself and others. To be successful in this application you will demonstrate confidence as a senior clinical pharmacist and be a role model to more junior staff.
