Job summary

This full time permanent post based at Archipelago Offices at Frimley (location subject to change) is an exciting opportunity for a highly literate and public procurement-competent individual to support the delivery of a significant programme of change within the Trust.

As part of the team, you will be purchasing goods and services within the Non-Clinical category across all Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust locations.

Main duties of the job

As a key member of the Procurement team, you will relish the opportunity to provide advice on procurement and supplies matters and be responsible for consistently demonstrating best value for money by supporting the effective sourcing of goods and services.

Have detailed knowledge both of the capabilities of all the Trust's regular suppliers and of where goods not available through normal supply sources may be obtained.

  • Member of CIPS Diploma Level 3 or equivalent
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Evidence of relevant CPD

Desirable

  • Desire to achieve/ undertake CIPS or similar

Experience

Essential

  • Demonstrable experience of purchasing of varied range of goods and services relating to health care
  • Experience of Public Sector regulations (PCR2015)
  • Experience of reviewing contractual related documentation
  • Experience of buying within the NHS (any area or category)

Desirable

  • Experience of processing and obtaining PAQ's, URN's or similar
  • Experience of Line Management

  • Familiar with MS Office products
  • Knowledge of relative Non-Clinical products and services

  • Working knowledge of Bravo, EROS, Atamis and Spend Analytics Portals
  • Working in a similar position with a similar sized organisation
