Main duties of the job
Main duties of the job
The job holder will assist the Asst Hotel service manager/ Caf Glade Manager to expand and/or make recommendations for improving standards and enhancing the service to all customers. This would be through quality initiatives and by looking at ways of maximising good customer care and income generation. You'll be expected to serve patients, their visitors and staff in a welcoming, friendly and efficient manner, whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You'll be working as part of a motivated team.
Candidates must have experience in managing people - motivating them to do their best, to become engaged with the role and to commit to the operation to diffuse conflicting scenario within the team .
You will be expected to be able to communicate and support through the department and beyond - whether with NHS colleagues in the hospital or external contacts such as contractors are on site.
We have a constant cycle of training and refresher training and you will maintain this with the Catering Assistant Team members along with management of holidays, sickness and an electronic rota system [Health Roster] are also part of the role.
