Job summary

We have a great opportunity to join the Frimley Health Digital Services department. To to help with the designing, developing, implementing and adopting of Digital Solutions across the Trust.

Based at our Greenwood Offices site in Ascot,you will be working with our technical teams, key suppliers, specialist IT/Digital partners, clinical and non-clinical stakeholders. To design fit-for-purpose solutions for the benefits of the Trust and patients we service.

Main duties of the job

You will provide the technical knowledge to support and deliver a high quality, efficient and patient-centered infrastructure ensuring our clinical colleagues are able to work with our patients.

Essential

  • Educated to Masters degree level or equivalent experience Professional qualifications e.g. MCP, MCSE or significant and extensive relevant experience
  • Technical qualifications e.g. MCSE (IT Related) or equivalent work experience.

Desirable

  • Prince2 Practitioner
  • ITIL
  • TOGAF

Experience & Knowledge

Essential

  • Server architecture and peripherals
  • Expert in MS Windows Server and support tools
  • Expert in Mail services
  • MS SQL Server
  • Citrix Client, Imprivata or Epic
  • SharePoint & PowerPlatform
  • VMware ESX or equivalent
  • VMware View 5+ or equivalent
  • Expert in Desktop Virtualisation techniques
  • Expert in Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) technologies - deploying, managing, monitoring
  • Minimum of 3 years IT system management in the NHS, public sector or major private sector organisation
  • Any experience with Project Management or Solution design
