Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who loves to work with people. The Parapet breast unit is a busy department dealing with patients with a wide range of needs and clients from the National Breast Screening Programme.

Main duties of the job

To provide support to the Breast Screening Administrative team by performing various clerical tasks.

To input accurate patient data into the Radiology Information System and National Breast Screening System in a timely manner

To participate in all aspects of image downloading and using the computer systems to ensure that all actions are performed as specified by the 'Right Results' pathway.

To assist Radiologists and Radiographers in performing a range of Radiological procedures,including Ultrasound and Mammography

To assist in all aspects of patient care with in the Radiology department.

To assist with housekeeping duties i.e. cleaning specialist equipment.

To assist with all breast interventional procedures.

  • Previous experience of X-Rays and Radiological procedures
