An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Orthopaedic Directorate at Frimley Health Foundation Trust based at Frimley Park Hospital. The full time post of Senior Sister/ Charge Nurse for Ward F4 Trauma Orthopaedics. F4 is 29 bedded busy trauma orthopaedic ward dedicated to deliver high standard patient care.
We are looking for a dynamic enthusiastic individual who is able to demonstrate strong leadership and managerial skills.
As a Senior Sister/ Charge Nurse , you will be a committed leader with exemplary communication and interpersonal skills. You will be highly visible and act as a role model. Good organization and time management skills are key.
The successful candidate will be caring and compassionate to staff and patients as well as committed to service improvement.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, motivated team leader who is looking to join our team on the Frimley site. We are looking to recruit Band 7 Senior Sister/Charge Nurses to join our Trauma Orthopaedic Ward. The successful individual will provide leadership, responsibility, and accountability for the management of patients care in Ward F4.
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed leader with exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, who is an excellent role model and passionate about quality, safety, and innovation. The role is high profile and requires you to lead and manage a team of nurses with varied skills and experience.
Ward F4 is a busy, 29 bedded Trauma Orthopaedic Ward. It works very closely with the Therapists and Consultants on the ward to provide a holistic service to patients.
You must have energy and enthusiasm to oversee the delivery of safe and effective care, explore new and innovative ways of working and drive forward the Trust Quality Strategy. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate insight into team structures, dynamics and can motivate and influence stakeholders.
The post holder will be expected to support the Matron and Directorate Manager in delivering the Trusts Nursing agenda in ensuring that both local, cross site and national quality targets as well as key performance indicators are achieved.
