Job summary

The Heathlands Unit is a 20 bedded rehab unit based in Bracknell. The purpose of the unit is to support patients in enabling them to be transferred home or to their preferred care setting so they can continue their rehab journey.

You will also be the Clinical Leader for Community Therapy and support professional development across the Community Wards and the Community Teams.

The Unit Manager is key to supporting the ethos that 'rehabilitation is everyone's responsibility'. Your background could be physiotherapy, nursing or occupational therapist. We are looking for a leader who can support the MDT in delivering the unit's ethos.

The unit is part of the Community Services, Older People's Medicine and Palliative Care Directorate. We have a reputation in driving through innovation and working in different ways. This is supported by the Trust and partners within the Frimley Integrated Care System.

  • Current professional registration relevant to qualification and role (NMC/HCPC)
  • Mentorship prep course or equivalent
  • Rehab experience at a senior level for minimum of 2 years
  • Evidence of clinical/management development and recent clinical updating
