Job summary

With a view to substantive post, applications are invited for this new post, created to meet the increasing demands of breast service, in a friendly, forward-looking unit based at the East Berkshire Breast Diagnostic Centre site, Windsor (The Parapet). We are looking to appoint a high quality person to join a busy and innovative team of 3 Consultants. As a department we have clear goals to increase our profile in Clinical and Academic Oncoplastic Breast Surgery.

The post offered is for a Locum Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon with 10 programmed activities. These sessions will be wherever the Trust delivers its services but the majority of the work will be at the Parapet Breast Unit, Wexham and Frimley Park Park Hospitals.

Applicants are required to be on the general GMC Register and either on the Specialist Register, or be within 6 months of CCT at the time of interview. There is no general surgery on call commitment. The department is willing to consider flexible working arrangements depending on the individual needs of the successful candidate.
