Job summary

We have an opportunity for an full time Income Analyst to join our income and planning team.

This role will be supporting a Income accountant and Head of Income and Planning working with information and contracts colleagues to ensure robust and accurate income reporting is completed at all times.

The production of the monthly Service Level Agreement Monitoring (SLAM) reports.

Updating the income schedule, preparing monthly ledger reconciliations and investigating variances & commissioner queries

Experience

Essential

  • Relevant finance experience in a large organisation.
  • Experience of preparing and maintaining accounting records
  • Use of relevant software packages
  • Preparation of management accounts

Desirable

  • Previous NHS Accounting Experience
  • Knowledge of E Financials
  • Knowledge of Oracle Financials
  • Knowledge of Electronic Staff Record

Qualifications

Essential

  • AAT full membership (i.e. exams plus portfolio of minimum one year's work experience
  • CCAB/CIMA Certificate level or Honours degree

Desirable

  • Commitment towards completing CCAB/CIMA qualification
