We are looking for a caring and professional Staff Nurse to join our service.
Main duties of the job
To work as part of the multidisciplinary team in the EPU and UGCC providing excellent clinical care within their sphere of band 5 responsibilities. Communication between all disciplines will be vital to the success of this role.
To provide excellent nursing care and information to women in the Early Pregnancy Unit and Gynecology Urgent care Center.

- To assist the team in ensuring effective and efficient care and management of all patients within the department.
- To play a lead role in the achievement and maintenance of high standards of patient care.
- To use all resources efficiently and effectively and maintain operational standards taking responsibility for regular testing and maintenance of all equipment.
- Liaise with all other departments as appropriate, to be aware of and participate in the implementation of Trust wide issues.
- To communicate effectively with members of the multi-professional team and other agencies as required
- To discuss and obtain consent where appropriate in accordance with consent policy.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure high standards of nursing documentation where necessary.
- To ensure safe and appropriate discharge from the department following consultation treatment.
- To demonstrate a sound knowledge of the principles of Infection Control and the highest standards when performing aseptic techniques.
