Main duties of the job
Post holder is responsible for the estate - owned, leased, occupied & used by Frimley Healthcare NHS FT - to ensure the sound property & asset management under the Director Estates & Facilities. Lead the Property Team responsible for that management, ensuring they can influence the strategic direction & co-ordinate & manage short, medium & long term projects that result from this strategy. Lead lead the space management team responsible for the appropriate implementation of Trust policy and consider requests for additional & repurposed space, monitoring utilisation & negotiating the release of space/assets with services where they don't represent value for money.
"FHFT Estate" is regarded as a facility used by FHFT for provision of clinical & non-clinical services whether it is owned, has a legal agreement with a landlord or an informal agreement to use as part of a wider contract or commission.
Post holder is responsible for providing a comprehensive holistic service & liaising closely with Directorates, Finance & all teams within the FHFT Estates & Facilities Management Directorate ensuring projects are delivered to agreed budgets & timescales.
Post holder will develop & maintain links with relevant external organisations including, but not limited to, ICS / ICB, NHS Property Services CSU & other Healthcare organisations seeking to occupy relevant property & professional organisations including property agencies, District Valuers, landlords & Local Government Agencies.
