We are looking for a motivated Auditor/Supervisor to work at Wexham Park Hospital.
We are interested in hearing from individuals who are willing to work hard within a strong, friendly team. They will be required to provide a KEY service within the hospital for both staff and patients.
The post holders will be responsible for ensuring that the environment are of a high standards and meet the needs of patients and visitors. The main focus of the post holder is to facilitate the maintenance of a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients. They will work with the Housekeeping team to ensure patient safety privacy and dignity and courtesy in accordance with Trust values.
This is a challenging but rewarding job and would be ideally suited to motivated team players. Housekeeping experience within healthcare and Knowledge of COSHH, BICs, Colour coding and infection control is desirable though this is not essential, as full training will be given.
A maths and English assessment is required for the role.
Main duties of the job
To assist the Housekeeping manager and maintain high cleaning standards within the hospital. Provide assistance , training and guidance to staff when required.
the post holder will audit cleaning standards and monitor performance and compliance with the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness and present the score finding to ward managers and housekeeping staff.

Be confident in own ability and judgement when being challenged on audit results where these may not always have achieved an effective score. Attend meetings as requested by the Facilities Management Team. To provide clinical and non-clinical management teams with the data produced from cleaning audits, detailing any failures which need to be rectified and any initial actions taken in order that action plans can be produced where necessary in a timely manner in line with the functional risk set against each ward / area. To take part in regular efficacy audits using an iPad to register the outcomes(pass/fail), issue audit reports and actions reports. To take part in the annual PLACE assessment audits using an iPad to register the outcomes and comments. To display the Star ratings in each patient facing area.
All tasks must be supported and guided by the NHS cleaning Standards 2021.
