Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Outpatient Appointments Officer to join the Ophthalmology Outpatient Team at Frimley Park Hospital.

You will be expected to undertake a variety of tasks across all aspects of appointment bookings and rescheduling of appointments. You will also be expected to work independently and also as part of a team.

Main duties of the job

The ideal candidate will possess: - good communication skills, handling both internal and external telephone calls- a flexible approach to work and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. An eye for detail in data collection and recording, and an awareness of local and national targets . This post is an excellent opportunity to develop skills working within the outpatient booking team in a band 3 job role.
