Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated nurse to join our team on the Postnatal Ward at Wexham Park Hospital. This post is for you if you are interested in Women's Health and are looking to bring a significant contribution to our patient population who are accessing maternity services.

The postholder will provide full nursing support to women within the maternity service, predominately assisting the midwives with the elective caesarean section lists, and providing post operative care to these women on the ward. This post would suit someone looking to go on to do their midwifery training in the future

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will work in our designated post operative bay providing care for women after their Caesarean Section. We currently conduct about 4100 births per year. You should have a passion for caring for women and their families. You will be part of highly skilled team providing excellent and up-to-date care to women from a multicultural background. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and will be motivated concerning personal development.
