Job summary
To develop and maintain effective working relationships with all Trust staff, including clinicians, nursing staff and administration staff to provide an accurate, efficient professional and seamless service to patients and visitors.
To greet every patient in a pleasant, calming manner and direct them to appropriate area.
To deal with patients in a polite and respectful manner complying with their requests where possible and where it is not possible to deal with them with dignity and respect,
F1 is a 28- bedded paediatric ward and paediatric assessment unit.
We care for children aged new born to 16 with a variety of conditions.
Main duties of the job
Maintain accurate admission, confirm attendance, transfer and discharge information.
To check patient details are correct and amend or update details on EPIC and in the case notes when necessary in accordance to standards set by DATA Assurance Department (DAD).
Ordering supplies, ensuring there is adequate resources.
To update real time on EPIC regularly.
