Night Support Worker - 20 or 30 hours per week
We're looking for Night Support Workers to join us in West Sussex; this is your opportunity to make a direct contribution to the care of vulnerable and often elderly patients in their own homes. You will need to be an experienced health Care Assistant, good communicator and confident driver.

Main duties of the job
The post involve travelling throughout West Sussex and Brighton and Hove, supporting patients in their homes overnight, therefore, having a full UK driving license and access to a car are essential. Once you have passed your probationary period, you will have access to our subsidised lease car scheme.
The post is for 2 or 3 nights per week (10 hour waking nights), rostered over a four week repeating rota. This means you know which shifts you will be working well in advance.
The role of the Night Support Worker is varied, complex and challenging: one night you might be keeping observation on a patient who has had an anaesthetic and the next you may be caring for someone at the end of their life. You may be assigned to look after a patient who is temporarily confused by an infection, keeping them out of hospital in the process.
