Job summary
The Specialist Nursing Team at Chailey Clinical Services (CCS) provide care and support for children and young people with complex Neurodisability and their families across the school and residences in the adjoining Chailey Heritage Foundation and at the Bluebells Short Breaks service. The team consists of highly specialist nurses, nurse associates, Health Care Support Workers and two administrators.
A willingness to provide reciprocal cover for the Bluebells short breaks administrator, where necessary and share common tasks are key requirements of the role.

Main duties of the job
a) The post holder will work closely with the Specialist Nurses and Health Care Support Workers supporting them by running a proactive, efficient and responsive administrative support.
b) Prioritise, plan and organise daily workload, ensuring the daily tasks and ongoing workloads are prioritised and completed within agreed and acceptable timescales.
c) Receive and respond to queries from external parties, patients and relatives, or other departments, escalating more complex queries to the relevant member of the team.
d) Receive routine correspondence and ensure outstanding matters are competed.

b) To escalate matters of urgency to the relevant member of the team.
c) To provide excellent administrative support to the team, attending training if needed to ensure skills remain current.

e) Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
