An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the East Band 5 PhysiotherapyRotation at Sussex Community Foundation Trust (SCFT).
This recruitment is for 1 x Permanent post, and for 1 x Fixed Term post (estimated 14 months Fixed-Term dependant upon how long employment checks take). The Fixed Term post will likely be extended to permanent during the term of the contract, if this is agreeable to the successful candidate, as soon as our next Permanent vacancy arises.

Main duties of the job
This supportive Band 5 Physiotherapy rotation aims to help you through the transition from student to skilled therapist and we welcome applications from new Physiotherapy graduates as well asthose with previous Band 5 experience.
You will have a supervised caseload and a programme of continuing professional development to assist in your progression. The rotations enable newly qualified Physiotherapists to develop skills and competencies beyond graduate level in a variety of clinical specialties across inpatient, outpatient and community roles, and for established Band 5 Physiotherapists to extend their skills across a variety of clinical services.
Rotations available on our East Rotation include:
- Musculoskeletal Outpatients
- Community Therapy Team
- Community Neuro Rehabilitation
- Community Respiratory
- Intermediate Care Units (Inpatient Rehabilitation)
- Falls and Fracture Prevention
- Amputee Rehabilitation (Split Rotation with Community Therapy)
Please note that you will need to be able to drive with a full UK licence for home visits.
Hours of work for full time staff are 37.5hrs per week.Hours will primarily fall within 08:00 and 17:00 with the potential to work the hours in different arrangements in some rotations.
