Job summary

Adult Specialist Services, within the Community Care Division of Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust are looking for a Team Administrator / PA to support their Heads of Service within Adult Specialist Services.

Primarily based in Brighton General Hospital, travel will be expected across Sussex to other venues and for meetings.

Experience taking minutes and extensive diary management is essential for this role.

Main duties of the job

To provide a full range of administrative support to the Heads of Services and Senior Management Team within the Adult Specialist Services.

Liaise with and deal in a professional and helpful manner withHeads of services and Deputy Heads of Services and senior PA's in-person, by telephone, and via MS Teams.

Word processing of reports and letters, including amending and tidying documents and work prepared by others, drafting routine correspondence for approval by Managers and without reference sending out routine correspondence using software packages as appropriate, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Minute taking and creation of action logs at high-level management meetings, utilizing Teams recording/transcribing facility as appropriate.

Organising and maintaining databases and processing forms, keeping office systems up to date, devising and maintaining efficient filing, clerical and office systems, and providing general secretarial support the Senior Management Team
