Main duties of the job

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Proven expertise in orthopaedics, neurology, amputees, and frailty, with experience in either acute or community settings.
  • Communication: Excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with teams across SCFT Intermediate Care Units.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate leadership abilities and support the professional development of team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Flexible approach to problem-solving and goal setting to ensure effective patient outcomes.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Qualifications and Professional Registrations

Essential

  • Professional qualification such as a degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy .
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Physiotherapist.
  • Evidence of relevant postgraduate courses / CPD and reflective practice relevant to clinical speciality

Desirable

  • Training in student education

Experience

Essential

  • Substantial relevant post-qualification experience covering a broad range
  • Experience of working within a relevant specialist area
  • Experience of supervising junior staff, assistants and students
  • Experience of independently managing a clinical caseload

Desirable

  • Contributions to audit and evaluation within a clinical governance framework

  • Demonstrates competency in a range of clinical assessment and treatment skills
  • Able to plan and prioritise own workload efficiently
