An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Band 5 Physiotherapy NorthRotation and West/ Coastal at Sussex Community Foundation Trust (SCFT)

Main duties of the job
This supportive Band 5 Physiotherapy rotation aims to help you through the transition from student to skilled therapist and we welcome applications from candidates who are close to graduation or awaiting confirmation of HCPC registration post-graduation, in addition to those with some previous Band 5 experience.
You will have a supervised caseload and a programme of continuing professional development to assist in your progression. The rotations enable newly qualified Physiotherapists to develop skills and competencies beyond graduate level in a variety of clinical specialties across inpatient, outpatient and community roles.
Specialities available on this rotation include:
Hours of work for full time staff are 37.5hrs per week- primarily arranged according to service requirements, which may require a degree of flexibility depending on the service. Hours will primarily be within 07:30 and 20:00 with the potential to work the hours in different arrangements over the 7 days of the week. Rotations are 6 months in length and are based around our geographical areas: West and Coastal (Chichester, Arundel, Littlehampton, Bognor Regis, Worthing) North (Mid-Sussex, Crawley, Horsham).
These geographical rotation areas are set up to help limit the travel distances involved for our staff, however, if you have a particular interest in undertaking a rotation outside of your home rotation, all requests will be considered.
If this is your first Band 5 post since graduating, you will be invited to take part in our preceptorship programme. The preceptorship is a structured scheme lasting 12 months, which aims:
To successfully help new starters integrate into their new role
To build confidence and competence
To help you on your way to settling in well to your new career with SCFT
To facilitate your journey to a fully autonomous practitioner.
The programme will include a variety of trainings, watched assessments, and opportunities to network and learn throughout your first year in employment.
