Job summary
If you're an experienced administrator looking for flexible part time hours, we're offering a dynamic administration role within the West Sussex Community IV Service. The role would ideally suit an experienced multi-tasker looking for a supportive work-life balance. The Service has multiple clinics throughout the West Sussex area and the successful candidate would be expected to travel between sites as needed so the ability to drive is essential. The part time post is for 22.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) between 8.30am to 4.30pm. The working hours are negotiable.
Main duties of the job
You must have good organisational and communication skills and be able to work under your own initiative to follow procedures and directions. You'll also be actively engaged in service development for both administrative and clinical processes to maximise efficiency and ensure a good patient experience. Therefore, working collaboratively with the clinical team to achieve excellent patient outcomes is a key part of this role. Effective diary management, data entry and attention to detail are key skills we are looking for in our friendly team.

- Qualifications demonstrating knowledge of administrative procedures and systems to Vocational Level 3 or equivalent qualification or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience of working in an administrative environment.
- Competent in a range of systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Desirable
- Working in an NHS / social care environment.
- Evidence of experience of the in-house ordering system Oracle SBS
