Main duties of the job
Drive strategic transformation and continuous improvement across the Trust, aligning programmes with its strategy, priorities, and local health needs. Lead efforts to build a high-performing improvement team and embed a culture of quality improvement. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including patients, carers, and communities, to co-produce meaningful change.
Establish robust governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, and provide tools, training, and support to enhance organisational capability. Use data-driven insights, including NHS Impact and model health tools, to challenge practices, monitor KPIs, and inform leadership decisions.
Foster a culture of inclusivity, innovation, and resilience, acting as a visible leader and change agent. Represent the Trust regionally and nationally, contributing to the NHS transformation agenda. Integrate financial and workforce planning to address inefficiencies, drive sustainable improvements, and meet evolving community needs. Deputise for the Chief Operating Officer as required, ensuring alignment with Trust objectives.
