Job summary
The West Sussex IV Therapy Service has an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team. Home IV Therapy has been proven to be a cost efficient way to treat patients while enhancing the patient experience. Our nurses are experts in the delivery of IV medication and in the management of patients with venous access devices. The service supports hospital discharges for patients requiring IV therapy treatments in the community; local oncology departments to assist with the management of treatments and facilitates GP referrals to avoid hospital admissions.
As well as delivering IV therapy to patients in the comfort of their own homes you will also be working in our designated IV clinics located in Crawley Hospital, Kleinwort Centre, and Shoreham Health Centre.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a dynamic nurse with experience (preferred) in IV administration, cannulation and care of all venous access devices. The successful candidate will need excellent communication skills, an aptitude for caseload and time management, and a desire to deliver the best service possible for our patients. In addition the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a sound clinical knowledge; be proficient in basic IT skills and hold a UK driving license with the use of a car for business purposes.

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, flexible member of staff with experience in intravenous therapy to join our small team. The post is full time but applicants for part time hours will be considered. The working day is 8:30am - 4:30pm and you will be required to work weekends and bank holidays on a rotational basis.
