Main duties of the job

Are you looking to start your physiotherapy career, keen to develop new skills working in a community setting or wanting to return to practice? We are looking for skilled, enthusiastic, highly motivated Band 5 Physiotherapists to join our well established Brighton and Hove community rotation. Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

In this role you will be involved in:

  • Delivering high quality, individualised, evidenced-based care to all patients
  • Maintaining the confidentiality, privacy and dignity of patients
  • Learning, developing and adapting to change evidenced in continuing professional development (CPD)
  • Operating in a team and contributing to team decisions
  • Managing your own caseload
  • Teaching patients, carers and peers
  • Maintaining accurate records in line with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy's standards

During each six month rotation you will be supported by Band 7 and Band 6 colleagues with a comprehensive range of in-service training to meet your learning needs.

Rotations include:

  • Community Neuro Rehabilitation
  • Falls and Osteoporosis
  • Respiratory
  • Amputee Rehabilitation
  • Community Therapy hubs
  • Inpatient rehabilitation units
  • Urgent Community Response

A driving license is required, as you will need to travel across sites and work in the community.
