The closing date is 09 March 2026

Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Band 4 Physiotherapy Technician to join our dynamic and supportive Physiotherapy team, as part of the friendly Therapies Team at Velindre Cancer Service. This role is ideal for an experienced Physiotherapy support worker or assistant looking to take the next step in their career.

This post is advertised on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week) but part-time working would be considered.

Main duties of the job

You will work under the supervision of qualified Physiotherapists delivering high quality care to patients across our inpatient services, including our same day emergency care units and the inpatient ward. The role will involve working directly with a range of patients who are experiencing side effects from their cancer and / or its treatments. The role involves carrying out treatment programmes, monitoring patients' progress and contributing to their rehabilitation goals. You will also support service development initiatives along with departmental administrative duties. The post holder will also be required to undertake clerical and administrative duties to support the teams as part of their role.
