Physiotherapist - Band 6
Full Time - Permanent
This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6
physiotherapist with an interest in pulmonary rehabilitation and delivery with
some experience in the management of respiratory patients to contribute to
developing community respiratory services within Wiltshire, as part Wiltshire
Health and Care.
We are passionate about respiratory care and you will join
us to assist in driving forward advancements in pulmonary rehabilitation
services, delivering programmes which include exercise training and disease
management education, promoting patient self- management leading to improved
quality of life.
The post is Wiltshire where the team have a base in
Chippenham and Amesbury. You will need to be a car driver, owner and prepared
to cover a large geographical area.
The post is for 37.5 hours but is open to negotiation for
the right candidate, similarly a development post would be considered.
Main duties of the job
You will work as part of an established integrated team
which delivers care closer to home and have opportunity to carry out
physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis and evidence-based treatment for patients
with respiratory conditions. The post also provides an opportunity to deliver
multidisciplinary functions to respiratory patients in variety of community
settings, participate in teaching and supporting the community teams and carry
out clinical audit to assist service development.
