Neuro Occupational Therapist - Band 6
South Wiltshire
30 Hours per week - Up to 12 month fixed term contract or when maternity leave finishes.
The integrated Community Neurology and Stroke
Service at Wiltshire Health and Care are looking for an enthusiastic Band 6 Occupational
Therapist to support the team in delivering rehabilitation to patients with
neurological conditions.
You will be working with a supportive
multidisciplinary team comprising Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and
Rehabilitation Assistants and within the wider team working with a range of
providers and disciplines.
The team see a variety of patient conditions
providing varying stages of rehabilitation and maintenance input, including end
of life support.
This role will be based in the community in West or
North Wiltshire although a degree of flexibility will be required depending on
service demands.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity to work with our
dedicated and experienced therapists. As well as receiving regular supervision,
there is a regular programme of inservice learning, peer support and
opportunities for service development.
A full valid driving licence and access to a car to
use regularly for business purposes is essential.
