Clinical Governance Lead - Band 7

Chippenham

37.5 Hours per week - Permanent

The successful candidate will hold a portfolio of clinical governance domains which will include

Patient Safety

Patient Experience

Clinical Effectiveness

The post holder will also be responsible for providing leadership, innovation, guidance, and support across WHC for clinical governance assurance.

You will work within WHCs Quality Team, reporting to the Head of Clinical Governance.

This exciting opportunity is a substantive full- time post.

  • Experience of working within a healthcare setting and a good understanding of the clinical governance agenda in a healthcare workplace
  • Experience of providing leadership within an organisation
  • Significant experience in IT systems, data collation, and analysis
  • Experience of design, development and implementation of organisational Annual Audit Programme
  • Experience of writing reports and policies at organisational level
  • Significant Management and Leadership experience
  • Knowledge of NHS Legislation and regulatory compliance

  • Experience of designing and delivering effective training (online & face-to-face)
