We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join Public Health Wales as aPublic Health Practitionerwithin theMental and Social Wellbeing programme, part of theHealth Improvement Division.
This national role involves working collaboratively with a wide range of local and national stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of current and future generations in Wales.
The position is based at Public Health Wales offices, with current working conditions supporting agile working.
Main duties of the job
Work closely with our cross-sector stakeholders to support the delivery of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2025-35
Support the development, delivery and monitoring of projects within the mental and social wellbeing team, with an initial focus on early years and children's health, at an All-Wales level.
Support monitoring and evaluation of action which aims to improve population health and reduce health inequalities.
Contribute to communications and dissemination of knowledge and evidence relating to mental health and wellbeing.
