SENIOR BUSINESS AND COSTING SUPPORT ANALYST

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Finance Performance and Delivery (FP&D) Directorate as a proactive, organised and analytically minded Senior Business & Costing Support Analyst, working closely with the Business Support Manager and the Assistant Director for Strategic Costing and team to help maintain effective corporate business and administrative functions while supporting the development, process management, and analysis of Welsh Costing Returns (WCRs) within a fast-paced, high-profile environment. You will be comfortable managing a significant workload, confident liaising with senior internal and external stakeholders, and familiar with the Oracle financial system, including placing requisitions and orders.

Main duties of the job

This is a critical position within the team, helping the Directorate operate efficiently and effectively within a fast-paced, high-profile environment while maintaining strong internal and external relationships.

In this varied and vital role, the Senior Business and Costing Support Analyst will assist the Business Support Manager to provide professional business and operational support to the Directorate to ensure the smooth running of corporate and administrative functions.

The postholder will also play a key role in supporting the Assistant Director for Strategic Costing and their team, assisting with the development, process management and analysis of Welsh Costing Returns and related data.
