THIS POST IS FIXED TERM FOR 2 YEARS DUE TO FUNDING.

Public Health Wales' Evidence Service is seeking to appoint an Evidence and Knowledge Analyst to support our team.

The position is full time and will be based in our Public Health Wales NHS Trust offices in Capital Quarter 2, Cardiff.

Main duties of the job

As an Evidence & Knowledge Analyst, you will work as part of a supportive team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality public health evidence and helping promote its effective use. The role involves working with senior colleagues to produce and share evidence products for a range of stakeholders across Wales.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to Evidence Service projects and high quality evidence synthesis products
  • Assist with evidence scoping, and the development of literature search methodologies
  • Acting as a first point of contact for stakeholder evidence queries
  • Communicating complex research findings in various formats.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across Public Health Wales and wider networks.
  • Contributing to the development of resources, including web content.
  • Assisting with training, induction, and promotional activities for the Evidence Service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

  • A willingness to undertake studies leading to a Master of Public Health or equivalent qualification should the opportunity arise
