Main duties of the job

oSupport Core Financial Operations: Assist with a range of financial operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, VAT, Capital, and other core finance activities. Contribute to wider financial functions such as budget monitoring, financial systems, and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely processing in line with NHS procedures.

o Contribute to Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly and annual accounts by helping to compile working papers, perform reconciliations, and meet internal and external reporting requirements, including audit.

o Gain Broad Finance Experience: Rotate across the finance function to develop a well-rounded understanding of financial management, reporting, and control within an NHS environment.Full details can be found in the job description and person specification.
